Mould Project
For the second term of my Masters I chose to focus primarily on developing my mould making skills. In doing so I managed to produce a Mother Mould, Four Snap moulds, and 4 F40 resin Moulds. I learnt new skills including how to take advantage of a Vacuform to help reduce the resin used, and further reduce shrinkage.
Aquatic Alien
This project was the Final Major Project at University. The design was inspired by several different creatures, such as Squid, Lobsters, and Lionfish. The design is made to be sleek, to emulate the flow of Squid tentacles as they swim through the ocean.

I wanted to character silhouette to allude to the aquatic nature of the character, aiming to create the appearance of fins as well as tentacles. The design process of this piece was very much natural, as although I had specific things I wanted to reference, I also wanted to see how parts looked together, how the clay moved, and decided not to have a set design and rather go with the flow of it all.
